Have you ever used them? Did you like the results?Which ones did you use?I've seen several different kinds, but I'm not sure which ones to buy.TIA :)

By Colette on Thursday, November 16, 2006 - 07:54 pm:

I've used them and loved the results. Not so good if you have sensitive teeth though.

My dh and I used them this summer and neither of us was very impressed with them. I felt like they bleached my teeth unevenly (but my teeth are pretty white anyway). My dh's teeth are stained from smoking and he was quite upset by the blotchy look that the strips left. We ended up paying for a professional bleaching to even his teeth out, which of course looks great.

Dh used them over the summer and LOVED them. He has been asking me to buy him more and I keep forgetting...oops! LOL

Love them, Love them, Love them!!! Your teeth do get sensitive for a very little while, but they work great.

For the ones that liked them.Did you use the regular 2 week ones?,or the Premium ones that are for a week? There's a $30 difference and sometimes more is not better.TIA :)

How much do the Crest Strips cost? It was around $150 for me to go to the dentist and have a tray made for my teeth and then get the professional bleaching tubes and sensitive teeth swish... Well worth it imo!

By Colette on Friday, November 17, 2006 - 09:41 am:

I've used both and I don't recall the premium ones being any better than the reg. ones.

I wouldn't buy any of them until they go on sale.

I love these!! I too have used both. They work the same, one just takes longer then the other. My dentist said that these are okay to use. However, if you have heavy staining from smoking, not having your teeth cleaned regularly by a dentist, etc, you are not going to get good results.

Conni-My dentist would charge $200.00 and I can buy the Premium ones for $60.I just thought if they worked well, I could save $140 :)

Debbie,We were posting at the same time.I just got my teeth cleaned about 3 weekss ago.My teeth just don't look white like they used to.I am a big tea/coffee drinker.

Colette-They are on sale right now and when I was looking at them yesterday I just didn't want to waste my money on them if they didn't work and I wasn't sure which ones to buy.I like the sound of using them for 7 days vs 14 days though.:)

By Colette on Friday, November 17, 2006 - 10:15 am:

SIXTY DOLLARS!!! I paid $30 last time I used them - the good thing about going through the dentist is that you always have the trays and then you just have to buy the bleach, which last I checked wasn't a lot of $$.

By Tripletmom on Friday, November 17, 2006 - 10:25 am:

$30 for the 14 day regular ones.I was thinking about the dentist,I just wasn't sure what was involved and how they did them. I thought if the results were the same and it lasted as long I'd just do it for cheaper.I didn't realize trays were even involved.I guess I need to call my dentist and see what needs to be done.Thank-you for all your input ladies.:)
