LOL... dd starts Monday and I am ready too. Not as ready as in some years past, but ready none the less. She won't admit it, but I think she is ready too!!

It's not so much being tired. I just think they need a little more structure in their lives and to be back with friends. They are driving each other crazy, which is making me crazy! 9/5 for mine, too!

Both of mines start on Monday. I got a call about 30 minutes ago that my son has orientation tomorrow at 10 a.m. Well I've already taken off to go wtih him o n Monday, ( don't ge me wrong I take off when it is needed) but being a single parent and having to use my leave to care for three people and my son is an asthmatic my leave balance is really low, and actually i'm filing a Labor Dispute now because of the way that I'm being treated about it.

I'm sorry ladies, I just mentioned all this because the fact that I wasn't notified until 30 minutes age about orientation tomorrow makes it really hard to get off.

But luckly I got his great aunt/god mother to attend for me. Which he doesn't have to be present so I assume it's just to get information on supplies, uniform policy etc.

I'm ready too! My dd starts second grade on Tuesday and ds starts kindergarden next Friday 9/1. I don't know why they are starting them on a Friday when they have Monday off for Labor day. Plus he goes Monday afternoons and all day Wed. and Fri. SO he starts next Friday and won't go back till Wednesday! I don't get it.

Anyway, like i said, I am ready for them to go back and they are ready too!
