OK, so far I know I am going to make a treasure map/puzzle and I need 20 clues to send the kids all around the back yard and inside. Once done, they will put the puzzle pieces together that will spell out where the key is to the treasure chest. I have 2 clues but I need 18 more.
PLEASE HELP!
I have:
Clue #1
Don’t walk the plank
To meet your doom
The first clue is
In the living room

Clue #2
To avoid Blackbeards revenge
And accomplish this feat
You must look under the
Garden seat

You are far more creative than I!

Here is a link to a site that has info on birthday themes and if you look down at the right hand middle of the page you will see some links to pirate stuff, hope you find something you can use.

Thanks, I already have everything planned. I just need clues for the treasure hunt.
Our plans....
We are making the kids walk the plank (hubby built a plank to go across the pool).
There will be a cannonball fight (black water balloons thrown at ships. We made 2 ships out of cardboard boxes for each team to hide behind).
A scavenger hut.
A pirate bean bag toss--win treasure
A octopus ring toss--win treasure

I've been thinking but I have so much going on right now, this sounds corny to me, but do you have a bird bath in your yard, or a bird feeder? If so, what about

That bird on your shoulder
what a wise bird he is
Is even more wiser
Once he's been feed.

Sort of cheesey but they might help.

Hoist the anchor
Pull the sail
You'll find the next clue
Under a pail

Over under
onward bound
Your getting closer
If you turn around
