Dead birds?
By Annie2 on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 - 05:22 pm: | With all of the gazillion birds that are around, how come I never see any dead ones? (besides those that fall out of nests or hit windows) I know that cats, dogs, mice and rats, etc will eat a few but I still wonder. Do birds eat each other? Just a thought
By Kaye on Tuesday, July 18, 2006 - 06:25 pm: | I guess it depends where you live. With in one week this summer I found 3 dead birds. I called animal control, due to west nile, etc. And mostly they didn't care. They took a record but told me to toss the birds. So it must be more common than I realized!

By Janet on Thursday, July 20, 2006 - 11:55 am: | I've found a couple of dead birds this summer... I don't even call the health dept. because of the same "oh well" reaction, even though the news makes it sound like we HAVE to let them know because of WN virus. I had one drown in a watering can! EEEEEWWW when I finally discovered it!!!!! Yuk! Blech!
