Need help finding a picture for dd's room

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive June 2006: Need help finding a picture for dd's room
By Sandysmom on Thursday, June 8, 2006 - 09:57 am:

I am having trouble locating a series of pictures made by Disney. I'll post a link below. A few years ago, I purchased 2 pictures from a thrift shop that I ABSOLUTELY loved. Now that little dd's room is almost done, I had DH hang those pictures and have been on a quest to find some more. I have bid on a few on Ebay but it's frustrating; I keep getting outbid. I'd really love it if anyone could help me find a different place to purchase these pictures. TIA.

Have you tried using a sniper service for ebay? It puts in a last minute bid for you. Someone else could still win it if they put in a higher maximum than you, but it does take away the risk of someone coming in with a higher bid because of your bid. I started using it when there was an item I really wanted and ended up paying way more for it than it was worth because someone kept upping my bid. Now I *usually* win and it's always in a range I am truly wanting to pay.

I agree, a sniper service might be your best bet. /image{http://www.auctionsniper.com/, Auction Sniper}
A quick Froogle search shows that ONE print from most places costs at least $20-$25, unframed, so Ebay looks like the cheapest option. :) Good luck!
