We're all set! I hope

We have all our closings scheduled. We close on our current house tomorrow morning at 9am. We're scheduled to do our final walk through next Wednesday at 10am and then close at 2pm. Now of course, this could all change. Especially since we went to the new house tonight and there's water damage in the master bathroom that leaked down to the ceiling in the breakfast nook and kitchen!!! Ugh! Dh is afraid this will push things back. I think we'll be fine. They put the rock on today. It looks really good. The fireplace looks GREAT!!! They have some tiling to finish an lots of little touch ups. Our neighbor across the street said they were working until at least midnight the other night getting the carpet in. It feels like Extreme Home Makeover, the last 12 hours! rofl Will we make the deadline?!? I guess we'll know next week! I'll get pictures up soon.

Good to hear! I will keep my fingers crossed the water damage is minor and a quick fix!! Yikes!!

This morning's closing went great! The couple who bought our house seem really nice. They have an 8yo dd, a 6yo ds and a 2yo ds. We're having them over for burgers Sunday so we can show them little things about the house (how to drain the sprinklers, where the lines are, etc). We met with the foreman of the building company of our new house this afternoon and he assured us they'd be finished on time, even with the water set back. They're going to replace the carpet and pad in the master bath that got wet and repair all the drywall/ceiling that got messed up. He also had us walk through the house and point out anything we had questions about. He said they should be completely finished on Tuesday. So far everything's going well!
