This past weekend

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: This past weekend
By Enchens on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 - 01:03 am:

Our family birthday outing this past weekend was fun for the boys. The weather was perfect! It wasn't too hot or too cold. The boys were able to enjoy 16 rides and one show. There were definitely several things we were not able to do but still wanted to, for example the pirate area where the wet rides were, but enough was not done to warrant a visit later.

The park was not crowded, which was a great relief. The longest wait for any of the rides was 15 minutes. It was a good thing we had 5 adults in the group because we were able to swap when we got tired or dizzy. :)

It's cute that the boys still forget they got another year older, even though they have been waiting anxiously for their birthdays.

Hi Enchens,

Happy birthday to your young men. Was looking forward to hearing about your Legoland day. Sounds like they had a nice time. Are there actual legos at legoland? Always wanted to go.

Linda

Hi, Linda,

Yes, there are actually legos there. The first thing you see as you enter the park property are letters that spell the word "WELCOME" completely made of legos. After you enter the park, there is a Bob the Builder made of legos. The cruise takes you on a tour of the world-different famous buildings made of legos like the Taj Majal, Mt. Rushmore, etc. Very cool. In case you were curious, you cannot take the legos off. Younger ds tried to take one off "Bob". :)

Believe me, Barbies, toy cars, and legos all hurt the same when you step on them in the middle of the night with bare feet! LOL

I left a kids chair somewhere it usually isn't and my husband looks like he broke his toe.

He always hurts himself on the craziest things. I actually always pick the floor up since I think it is dangerous to have things on the floor.
