Anyone try turning in a refund claim without the original sales receipt using just a copy & then have it returned to you?

I am so mad! Why can't they use a copy? I sent the original box UPC codes for gosh sakes! I can't copy those things!

I bought my Mom a DVD player on the same bill & gave the receipt to her & made me a copy for the refund - then of course - she lost the original!
