My husband and I were going to attend a Family Life Weekend to Remember. Anyone else attended one or something like it.

Linda, we haven't attended a Family Life Weekend to Remember but did attend a Focus on Marriage live simulcast Saturday a week ago. It was done by Focus on the Family, and our church was one of the host sites. We may host a Focus on Parenting simulcast in the fall. A number of couples from our church have attended Weekend to Remember events in the past and other events geared toward married couples, and they feel that these events really benefitted their marriages.

Thanks for sharing. I saw some of the other weekends on the Weekend to Remember website. Did you find it was as helpful as going away over night.

I think that going away over night would probably be preferable, but there are definite advantages to the one day events. The event we attended was much more affordable than weekend events, and it was easier to work out for parents of young children.

I haven't attended any of these, but I have a friend who attended something similar (Catholic). I've been nursing or pregnant for so long (no longer, mind you) that those were never an option for us because you can't very well bring your little one with you .... but I'm definitely interested in researching the whole thing .... I'll google it to see what I find.
