WOW! A friend of mine emailed me and asked if I had a facebook account because he doesn't use his myspace much (I have a myspace to keep track of my kid's myspace accounts--I keep track of my nephew for my sil, too). So I created an account and I've gotten emails from about a dozen people I went to high school with already! It's crazy! I haven't talked to these people for over 19 years. One girl I didn't even recognize. We were REALLY good friends, too. She'd gotten divorced and remarried so I didn't recognize the last name. I just think it's really wild that all these people are finding me after all these years.

Yeah, I just had a friend find me, on Facebook, that I'd been email buddies with for a while, but then she left the group. She invited me to a group on Facebook: "Why do you look so tired? Ohh, you must be a nurse!" She's a nurse, too.
I just started doing facebook. I still need to get the look and feel of my site done.
I really like facebook, too. I've been able to contact a lot of old friends also!
I never realized sites like face book or my space were so popular. Maybe I'll have my kids set up a site for me
I can't believe how many people I've made contact with since joining Facebook just last month!! I'm having so much fun!! It's neat to see where everyone's lives have taken them since we all graduated.
I am so completely addicted to facebook! It's a great way to share info and pics with people. I have connected with many people from my youth, but use it more to stay in touch with people I know now.
I've found or been found by so many people on both Facebook and Myspace... gotta love the internet.
I signed up last night and I'm think I'm already addicted. I've found friends that I knew were on there and other's who I have not seen or heard from in years! It's so cool.

I don't mean to be lame but on FB do you just sort of add friends and go around and look at other peoples pages and comment?
When I first joined, I spent lots of time checking out the sites of all of my friends. Now I chat with a few people, play games with some, check out pics that are posted, and post tons of my own. I spent way too much time on it for the first few weeks, but I think everyone does that while getting used to it.
I am addicted to Myspace, I have a Facebook account...guess I should start using it more.

I just recently joined facebook as well, and so far it has been loads of fun! I have found a few old classmates, and friends from where we've been stationed during dh's time in the Marines.
I had to go and join after all the talk. I was up til almost 3AM after joining. "THANKS, Cat" said in a very sleepy tired voice.
I am hooked on Facebook! It's been fun reconnecting with old friends.

Kathy, there are 500 results! I wonder if I should add in my maiden name, too. Try searching for Dawn Klein. When I searched mine was on top. I'm wearing a green sweatshirt. (It's a 10yo picture, but we won't tell anyone, will we?
I just got an email from a classmate from fourth grade!
Annie- go to profile- at the top beside home then go down to the part under your name and click photos beside info- then create new photo album- your picture or whatever- then the create button - then I used the simple uploader. That should do it. Upload which pictures you want.
Ok, I think I was able to add Dawn to my list. Going back in! LOL

I'm getting quite a list of friends! lol Some of you have found me already. If you put in cathy b r o c k (no spaces, except between the names) it'll bring me up. That's my maiden name and I should be the first one listed (married last name starts with an M).

Does anyone know how you change your name once you've already had an account? I didn't originally add my maiden name, didn't even think about it, but would like to now. I can't figure out how to change it though!
After you log in go to Settings, then name. I had to add my maiden name, too.

I have my maiden name my nickname and my married name
i changed mine last night so it's Brandy my maiden name and my married last name = )so it goes Brandy M M but with other letters in there lol = )

How do I add the section with my favorite web pages? I see a "Pages" section listed at the end of some friend's Info section. How do I make one of those? I look around but don't see that option.
