I can't wait for tomorrow to be over. I have already had 16 calls today alone about this election!!!! And it is only 3pm!!

We aren't registered with any political party. We haven't had any phone calls at all for either side of the ticket.

hehe Cat! I love your friends response! It makes it so interesting and sounds like what I would do.

I spoke to a friend of mine who lives in Colorado yesterday and he said "I'm voting for God" It was a great statement but I'm curious if he actually wrote "God" on his ballot and checked it. If you did something like that do you get in trouble? I'm curious. Voting is such a hard thing for me. We had an election here recently and absolutely everything I heard from the candidates was bashing each other. I was rather put off by that...

Well Colette, that was at 3pm. It ended with 24 calls for the day yesterday. I am in Ohio, so I am sure that makes a difference. Definite swing state. It isn't just presidential calls (although that is most of them) we are also getting calls for state issues and even some local issues.

I am quite surprised we have gotten NO calls yet today.

I just got home from the polls and was there for about an hour.

Well, here at work, we have 16,000 employees in our buildings in town. Captive audience. We've had just about every candidate, even Obama back in the early winter, stop by in the last year and give us their sermons over our PA system. They are limited to 3 minutes but it's not like you can hang up on them. We were getting local, state, and national candidates each day. One day we counted 7 or 8 of them.

I told my mom I'd like to write in McCain and Biden as a team. Wonder how that'd work???

We live in VA and have had several calls everyday for the last week or two. It's driving us crazy! We had one at 10:15 on Saturday night. I think that is totally uncalled for.

That's one advantage to not having a landline, I haven't gotten a single call on my cell, even though it's registered with the local Dem. Party and BarackObama.com. Still, I'm glad it's finally the 4th!! I am EXHAUSTED, and yet I'll be up late, because I am so excited for the results. Election day/night has been a big event in my family for as long as I can remember, so I'm pushing through the sleepiness regardless!!
