How is your Ragdoll doing??

By Debbie on Sunday, November 2, 2008 - 08:15 pm:

She is awesome, Trina. We just love her to death. She is so sweet. She can really be a stinker though. The only real issue we have is that she loves to get into our fireplace. We have a gas log, so she gets covered in soot when she does it! Then, I have to take her to the vet to be groomed. The way our fireplace is we can only put a standing screen up. I don't know how she gets past it, it is shoved up right next to the fireplace opening. But, she does, and she does it without knocking it down. We have a can of coins that we shake when she jumps up on the hearth, which seems to be helping. She is starting to do it less. She could care less if we squirt her with water! She also loves to scare me to death by sleeping in strange places. Then, I can't find her, and I panic. She does eventually come out! She loves lots of attention, and will follow us around meowing like crazy until we give it to her. She is the perfect pet for us! The boys are so attached to her, we all are, even dh, who isn't the biggest cat lover. I think she is converting him! I have a new camera, but when I have time, I will download the software, so I can download pictures, and post them.

Thanks for asking about her!

awwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!! She is precious. :) Does she shed much?

By Debbie on Monday, November 3, 2008 - 07:48 pm:

Not really! The breeder did say she will shed more in the spring. Her hair is so soft, she feels like a rabbit. The boys take turns brushing her. She loves it. I really thought she would shed more then she does. I had a long haired cat when dh and I first started dating. No matter how much I vacuumed, there was hair everywhere. It is not that way with Izzy.
