My kids school is doing something new this year. They are having a back to school bash at the pool. They are having food, games, prizes and the kids will get to see who their teacher is and who is in their class. I already know who dd's teacher is since her dh works with my dh. She is very excited because being just one year behind her brother she has always gotten the same teacher and this year she has a different one. Ds admitted she was getting the nicest one lol. I think it's really cool they are going through the effort to get the year started off in a fun way. Plus the kids will know who their teacher is before the first day.

A little boy at my church is going to be a kindergartener, at the school where I work, so that's one less name to learn! I still can't believe his big brother is going to be a 4th grader! I remember when he was in kindergarten.
