I woke up again this morning to no water. :) I bathed and brushed my teeth with a bottled water, before work. That was the last bottled water, so my kids had no water...fun day!!! :) ha

This evening my 14yo is in pain. His ear is really hurting. I *think* he may have swimmers ear.

There is never a dull moment...I know many have you have worse issues to deal with than me!!! I laughed at work today and we discussed just how little water a person can use to bathe if they have too. ewwwww. lol Do I pick two teeth to brush or should I be reckless and use 5 drops of water and brush them all. :) lol

How come you didn't have any water? My girls would have been delirious if we woke up without water today since we were going to the mall, school shopping, and they had to "get ready"!
Glad you could laugh :)

(I just sent you an email after reading yours)

Sorry your son isn't feeling well! One of my dd gets swimmers ear very easily. She now wears ear plugs when she swims. A hot compress right behind his ear helps with the pain a bit.

Oh no, Connie! Not good for going potty, either! Hope your son is feeling better soon and hope your water is restored, too.

(Again???)

We are on a well and the line has been breaking since March... Guess I will call someone to come look at it. My poor Dad took off work this afternoon to come work on it again. We checked it just now and the seal didn't hold.

Just going to keep smiling, smiling, smiling...

Will offer him the warm compress, Annie. :)

Sometimes all you can do is laugh. Ugh. So, how are you all using the bathroom?

By Conni on Thursday, August 14, 2008 - 07:22 am:

The water was back on yesterday, so that's how we were going potty. :) But last night before bed we walked out to make sure it wasn't leaking anymore and it is!!! :( Since March I have had my Dad fix it, bil fix it, dh fix it, plumber fix it...they repair it and something happens and then it cracks again??? I would like to hook on to city water, it's at the back of my property now, so easy to hook on. Just don't have access to the money to do that at this point. ;)

Hope you can fix it soon! Wow, what a pain....

My word... Got to have water. Hopefully someone can figure out a true fix for your water issues..

DS feeling better?

By Dawnk777 on Thursday, August 14, 2008 - 06:13 pm:

I hope something works soon.

I think my Dad has it fixed this time. He came back today and worked on it again. Hopefully, the line will not break anywhere for awhile. :) One of these days I'll have the money to hook on to the city water. ;) I took a loong shower earlier and got the dishes and laundry going.

You cannot imagine the hard water stains I am fighting on the tubs/fixtures and toilets. ack And the girl that does my hair insists that there is build up on my hair from my well water. lol yuck. Can the water in a well change over time and become even harder? Because it seems worse than it was 9 yrs ago when we built the house?

Brad seems to be a little better today. It hurts when he touches his ear. I started giving him the drops that Blake used for his swim ear...Hopefully, that will help. He slept a long time today. We always use the drops that prevent swim ear after we swim. However, I think we skipped a few uses and now he has it. oops!
