Are you seniors?

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive August 2008: Are you seniors?

Today, we went to Culver's. The lady behind the counter, asked if we were seniors. Well, we are getting close, but NO, we are not there yet.

DH will be 50 in October.
I was 48 this past March.

It's the first time we've ever been asked.

There are definitely mornings when I wake up FEELING like a senior... but... no! Not yet!

I can remember the first time someone called me "maam", and I laughed at them!

I suppose we could have said yes. LOL! I would have felt guilty for lying, though!

Don't feel too bad Dawn my husband was asked that same thing a few years ago at a shopko and he won't be 40 for another few weeks so he was about mid 30's when he was asked....

Man, it seems like as soon as they stop carding you, they start asking about senior discounts!!!

By Dawnk777 on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 - 10:52 am:

Exactly! LOL!

So far we are ok over here LOL :), although I will be turning 44 in a few weeks. I think having a 4 yr old makes people think I am younger then I am. LOL
