Can anyone tell me (probably a dumb question) what SSLI is? Is that an optional deduction?
social security deductions that you pay out is what I believe it is.
It is the soldier's life insurance. It is not optional, as far as I know.
Actually, that would be SGLI. But I googled SSLI, it looks like it is a National Guard thing, State Sponsored Life Insurance. And from the site info, it IS optional. SSLI
