See the link. Three high school seniors gave their teachers a laxative laced cake. A few of the teachers were briefly hospitalized. The students now face charges that could give them up to 7 years in prison, according to my local all-news radio report. Some prank!

Senior pranks are getting kids into trouble all over! My nephew's school had one that landed two kids in court, too. They planted a fake bomb made out of a soda can in the school's music room. These were two straight A students!!! Some things just aren't funny.

Lots of pranks here, too. I don't remember hearing as much as I have this year. I agree, Crystal, not funny.
Sort of makes me wonder about the emerging generation of young adults. Kids seem to be pushed these days to grow up fast, yet things like this make me wonder if they aren't showing signs of regression.

Good grief. What were they thinking? That's way more serious, than just toilet-papering some trees.

I don't remember hearing of any pranks, at the end of last school year, or this one, either.

There is a push for kids to grow up quicker.

The primary focus has become academic performance, extracurriculars that create scholarship recipients, with little regard for whether these adults (we are talking graduating seniors here) have the life skills to function in society.

This is one of my major pet peeves, so I won't turn this into a debate about why society is currently so messed up.

And say, they are lucky someone didn't die... Laxatives do cause an allergic reaction in some people.
