Is the postal rate the same for 5.5 x 5.5 square envelopes? I'm about to mail about 10 and am just remembering something about square envelopes maybe having more postage?

I checked the USPS website, but it just says that some square envelopes may require additional postage. That doesn't help me at all, since I want to mail them tomorrow.

Anyone know off hand? Thanks.

On here they show a card that size and state that postage is 58 cents

Thanks Yvonne - I forgot to tell you that. It turned out that 20 cents extra is standard for a 5.5.x 5.5 envelope. Apparently square ones aren't 'machinable', so they have to be hand stamped, explaining the extra postage.
