Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive April 2008: HAPPY BIRTHDAY
By Bellajoe on Sunday, April 20, 2008 - 04:08 pm:

to Me!

I'm 31 today.

We just got back from a visit with my sister in Cincinnati and now we are chilling out and waiting for some family to come over for cake.
So far I got a really cute , summery Coach purse from dh. We stopped at the outlet stores on the way home and I picked it out myself!
:)

By Bellajoe on Sunday, April 20, 2008 - 09:00 pm:

THANKS!

dh and I and my sister and her hubby all went to Montgomery Inn for ribs on Sat. night. OMG they are so good there!!
Then we walked around the mall because it was only 7:15 and we HAD to wait till all our kids were at least in bed before we went back LOL :) My sister bought me some super comfy, soft socks for my b-day (i'm wearing them now :) ) and then we stopped for some ice cream before going back to the house...btw this weekend was NOT a good weekend for Weight Watchers LOL i totally failed to even try keeping track of my points.
My mom, in laws, and brother just came over for ice cream cake and gifts. My in laws gave me a rhodedenrun (sp?) bush. My mom gave me a cute outfit for summertime and my brother (and his wife who didn't come) gave me a gift card for JoAnn Fabrics. I also got a cookbook from BIL.
It turned out to be a pretty nice birthday.

It was my 3rd 29th birthday :)

What a nice birthday! I'm almost old enough to be your mom! (Okay, so 17 would have been a bit young, though!)

I love montgomery inn! Sounds like a very happy bday!

We lived in that area from 1999 to 2003, I miss it. Texas is nice, but I loved the seasons. And I miss all the great parks. We have lots of outdoor stuff here, but nothing compares to sharonwood, the indoor treehouse, and what it the farm one out west? Very good times there!

Kaye, we are having a family reunion at Sharon Woods this year. My sister lives very close to that park.

Thanks everyone!

Happy birthday, Patti! Gosh, you were right in my neck of the woods! Glad you had a good birthday. Oh, and calories don't count on your birthday! :)

Michele, my sister lives in West Chester. Do you live in that area?

By Happynerdmom on Monday, April 21, 2008 - 02:00 pm:

Not far, I live in Loveland, east of West Chester. My in-laws live in West Chester. If you went to the original Montgomery Inn in Montgomery, I live closer to there. If you went to Kenwood Towne Centre, that's *my* mall! :)

By Bellajoe on Monday, April 21, 2008 - 07:17 pm:

We didn't go to the Montgomery Inn downtown, so it must have been the one in Montgomery, it was a cute little town with some restaurants and shoppes.

And YES, the mall we went to was Kenwood mall.

We went to Crazy City during the day, it's at the Tri County mall where JC Penney used to be.

When I was in College we always drove down from Dayton to the Forest Fair mall to go country line dancing at Bourbon street.
I had a boyfriend who lived in Colerain (I think that's what it was called).
:)

Yep, that's not far from me. Small world, eh? :)

By Bellajoe on Monday, April 21, 2008 - 11:04 pm:

sure is!
