We leave in the morning and will be back Sunday. I'm really looking forward to it. I like all the girls and tomorrow is a hang out day with the actual show Sunday. We're going to check out the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame while we're there. Hopefully I'll have something good to report when I get back

Thanks everyone! We won 2nd place. I had the time of my life. We didn't do the Hall of Fame, didn't plan on it being $40 to park our car for the weekend. Dh and I went to the Christmas Story house and museum which was neat. Then we went to the country's largest candy warehouse. We borrowed a gps so it was the most relaxing time out of town I ever had, we could explore a bit without paranoia of getting lost. It surprised me how quiet it was there for a big city. The hotel was beautiful and had a view of Lake Erie. We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe and we had never been there before. Afer that alot of the girls came to hang out in our room. Dh fit right in and became our "official" photographer. The competition was not allowed to be videotaped or photographed. We got individual ribbons but each dance it awarded since they don't know how many people are going to be in the winning groups. The adviser is having trophies made for us individually. At practice she always says to smile because it won't be automatic to do it in front of judges. I do smile at practice but the atmosphere for performing is so different, I felt lit up I had a really great time and got to be good friends with some of the girls. I hope it works out that I can do it next semester.

There is 1 other mom, but she is in the "traditional" age of a college student. She has a 3 year old and loves that she is no longer the only one who has to check to see if she has a sitter before she can commit to a different practice time .

Congrats!!!! Glad you had so much fun. Jen (and *I*) used to dance in competition - a couple times I purchased the *official* video of her dances. I love any kind of dance competition!
