Tooth Chart?

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive April 2008: Tooth Chart?
By Rayanne on Tuesday, April 1, 2008 - 02:58 pm:

Rylee has her 1st loose tooth...already! I called her dentist to see if they had a chart, and the first thing she asked me was how old she was. I told her that she was only 4, and I was actually surprised that her tooth was loose already. I didn't think that it happened until 5 or 6. She asked me when she got her first baby tooth, and Rylee was 5months old, which she said could be the reason why she is starting early. She said that if kids get their teeth early, they tend to lose them earlier as well. She asked if it was the bottom tooth, and I told her that it was the top right. She said that the bottom ones usually come out first, since they come in first, so she wants to see her tomorrow morning to have teeth x-rayed. She hasn't had that done, and they were going to at her next appointment anyways. I am little nervous, but not too much.
Any ways, back to my topic...lol. I never get an answer from her dentist about the tooth chart, so I tried to look online and couldn't find anything. Does anyone know of a site where I can print out a chart for her teeth that she looses? She is so excited and I want to make this a big deal for her.
Sorry this ended up being kind of long...lol

The only tooth charts I've seen are those for teachers where you list the name of the student who loses a tooth that month. Maybe you could print off a good chart that shows the drawing of the mouth open so you can see all of the teeth and then write the date on the tooth that she loses so you'll always know how old she was when she lost a certain tooth!

this one you have to purchase, but maybe you can just make one that looks like it.

Maybe you can print this and write on each one when she loses it?

I thought having a chart to track losing your baby teeth was a great idea, so I found some images online and created one for my son. If you'd like to see and use it I have it posted it here on my website. Thanks for the great idea! :)

Cute! The baby books I had, had tooth charts in them, and I did write down most of the teeth! LOL!
