Kodak easy share

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive December 2004: Kodak easy share
By Paulas on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 - 11:29 pm:

I have a Kodak easy share and I'm finding it is not so easy to share pictures :(

I want to post a picture of a quilt top on the craft board for Pam. can someone explain how to resize my picture or let me email it to them to post for me?

We have a Kodak Easy Share and we aren't all that impressed either. My inlaws got us a Nikon Coolpix digital for Christmas and it is just wonderful!

Sorry, I wish I knew how to help with posting the picture. I'm sure someone will know what to do :)

Paula, send it to me!

d-klein @ charter.net

I have to work from 8-5 tomorrow, but will try to catch it, resize it and post it for you.

I love my Easyshare, but you need an image cruncher to resize them to post here, and I have no idea how to do it. Dawn is wonderful, she resized mine for me! When Bubbels gets her site back up there is an easy to use online cruncher there. :)

I can resize for you, email to my work addy - karen @ lathamms . com

I HATE Kodak! LOL My boss got mad at Sony, bought a Kodak and does nothing but complain. My very first digicam was a Kodak - it was a dinosaur, and I will never own another one. Sorry, but it's true! The pics are great, the software isn't.

. I got one for Christmas also !
I am going to try to be optimistic though when I attempt to post some pic`s.

I have a Kodak Easy Share too, but I don't usually post pictures. The few times I have, I've been able to resize them in Paint.

This is what I do (maybe it would work for you): Go to 'My Pictures'. I right click on the picture I want to resize and choose 'Edit'. It takes me to Paint and I use the 'Stretch/Skew' feature in Tools to reduce its size. I rename the picture so I can keep the original and also have a smaller version.

It's not the best way, but it has worked for me! :)

Oh NO, I bought one for my parents for Christmas. I will have to check with my mom later to see if it is giving her any trouble. I bought this one because I thought it would be "easy"..

Thanks Sunny! It worked! I'll have to remember those instructions.

Now, I had better go post this on the craft board like I had intended.

I have one also it's the 6 something mp and it works fine for me but i don't have to use the docking station because my computer has a card reader in it = ) I do love mine though because it's very compact although i did have to delete the software off of the computer and now i use acdsee again for the most part also it's true in paint you can resize also...

I love my Kodak EasyShare, but I downloaded a free image cruncher that Melissa told me about called irfanview. That's how I've been able to get mine post-able.

You're welcome! I'm glad it worked.

That is a beautiful quilt. I love the colors. I doubt the picture does it justice. :)

Thanks..it's been hanging on my wall forever and I think it's about time I did something with it.

I like the kodak...it's easy to take pics with and to send them on email...I just didn't know how to post here.
