By Tink on Friday, December 17, 2004 - 11:53 am:

We Three Kings and In Excelis Deo to sing.

Carol of the Bells or the Hallelujah Chorus to listen to.

By Melanie on Friday, December 17, 2004 - 11:57 am:

My favorite is incredibly corny. LOL. It's If Santa Were My Daddy by the Osmonds. Yes, that's right, I said it. The Osmonds. LOL.

My mom used to put on this Christmas album and we would dance and sing over and over again. Amazing memories. They actually put out an album with a lot of the songs I remember a couple of years ago and, to my husbands disappointment, I bought it. Now when my mom comes out for Christmas we can turn up the music and sing our favorite songs all over again. :)

By Vicki on Friday, December 17, 2004 - 12:18 pm:

I really like Hallelujah Chorus too. If it is sung really well, I get goose bumps!!!

By Cybermommyx4 on Friday, December 17, 2004 - 01:14 pm:

I have three: "Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas" is my favorite to hear on the radio. At church, I love the way they do "O Holy Night" - it makes my spine tingle! And then, of course, the "Silent Night" with the candle lighting. Those will always be my favorites...

By Rayanne on Friday, December 17, 2004 - 01:54 pm:

Mine is "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by Mariah Carey. That is my Mom's favorite too and we sing as loud as we can to this song, even though we cannot sing to save our lives.:)

By Momoffour on Friday, December 17, 2004 - 01:55 pm:

Little drummer boy is one of my all time favorite and Where are you Christmas(Faith Hill sings it in the movie Grinch) and DO you hear what I hear.

By Janet on Friday, December 17, 2004 - 02:45 pm:

O Holy Night for me... tears every time!

By Bea on Friday, December 17, 2004 - 03:27 pm:

Lo How a Rose er' Blooming It's heavenly

By Cat on Friday, December 17, 2004 - 03:52 pm:

Way to many traditional ones to choose from! I love a lot of them. :) My favorite contemporary one is Mary Did You Know, sung (and written) by Mark Lowery. Many different artists sing it, but I like his version best. :)

By Cocoabutter on Friday, December 17, 2004 - 03:58 pm:

Oh, Holy Night and Away in a Manger

By Bellajoe on Friday, December 17, 2004 - 04:18 pm:

Hallelujah Chorus is beautiful. We played it in band in high school with the choir singing behind us...it was beautiful.

I also love "it's the most wonderful time of the year" by Garth Brooks and All I want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey.

The classic i love is The Christmas Song.

My ds told my mom the other day "grandma? All i want for Christmas is you!" it was adorable. He's such a little lover boy!

By Rayanne on Friday, December 17, 2004 - 05:03 pm:

Oooh, Marie, I love Where Are You Christmas by Faith Hill too!!!!

By Jayne2 on Friday, December 17, 2004 - 06:06 pm:

definitely O Holy Night...the part "...down on your knees, oh hear the angel's voices..." really gets me....I just love it!

By Amecmom on Friday, December 17, 2004 - 10:05 pm:

After singing in churches for so many years, my favorites are very different from the ones already mentioned. I really love, "Jesu Bambino", "The Virgin's Slumber Song", "Rejoice Greatly" and my favorite is, "Mille Cherubini in Coro"
Ame

My two favorites are: Winter Wonderland and Grandma Got Run Over By The Reindeer

By Missymelissy on Friday, December 17, 2004 - 11:23 pm:

Correction -- It's Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer, not the reindeer.

By Colette on Friday, December 17, 2004 - 11:26 pm:

Oh Holy Night, Carol of the bells and Gloria in Excelis Deo

By Katherine on Saturday, December 18, 2004 - 02:45 am:

Jayne, I love O Holy Night for the same reason. I feel those words deep into my soul, sometimes have to stop myself from getting really emotional

By Trisa on Saturday, December 18, 2004 - 08:53 am:

O Come, O Come Emmanuel--favorite Christmas hymn

Also love Grownup Christmas List by Amy Grant, Welcome to our World by Chris Rice, and the cheesy Christmas Waltz by The Carpenters.

By Tunnia on Monday, December 20, 2004 - 01:54 pm:

Oh, I forgot about "Mary did you Know". That song is great! The line 'did you know that when you kissed your little baby you kissed the face of God" Gives me chills every time because it really makes me aware of how amazing and awesome that would be!

By Pixie on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 - 02:36 pm:

JUST ONE FAVORITE?!?!?! Well If I had to pick just one but it would probably be What Child is This, it was in a prayer book I got as a young child and I actually read or sing it to the kids no matter what time of year it is! Closely to follow would be Carol of the Bells and The Little Drummer Boy though! Gosh Oh Holy Night, Away in a Manger and Silent Night as well! I just love Christmas!!!

By Kaye on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 - 04:57 pm:

My kids favorite is redneck days of christmas!
