If you would have asked me this yesterday, I would have had a hard time thinking of the last time...but I had a margarita last night while out with the girls in my branch of a home based business for our Christmas party!! Wow, you have no idea how long it took me to word that so that I wasn't advertising. LOL
The last time we had a drink was almost 4 years ago. We decided that that would be our last and it was. We never really made a habit of it anyway. Mostly just when we hung out with bad company anyway. So, we ditched the drinks and then our bad company stopped coming over. It kind of worked out in our favor!
ooops...in case you couldn't figure it out, I don't drink often at all. Maybe a couple of drinks every other month or so. Couldn't even begin to tell you the last time I was drunk... years at least.
The last time was the weekend after Thanksgiving when we visited my friends from college.
Last week.
I tried alcohol on my 10th grade school trip to Europe (beer in Germany, champagne is Switzerland) and hated it. I've never had a drink since, even in college. Hate the taste and I have a strong history of alcoholism on both sides of the family, so I sure don't want to tempt those genetics either.
We usually have wine with dinner but when i went to vegas in oct, I had some rum and cokes...my favorite. (In college, I used to think they were called "Roman Cokes"...I asked for one at a fraternity party and the guy gave me a weird look. I guess it was painfully obvious I had never actually made one myself...felt so stupid. I didn't know what was in them, but I knew they were good!)
I don't remember! LOL! I don't drink alcoholic beverages all that often!
We don't drink much either. I would say maybe 3 months ago when we had some friends over...
It's been a couple years, at least. Even then, it was usually only once a month or less. Dh and I arent's big drinkers. We both have alcoholism in our family history's, also. I really don't like beer, and most wines I feel are just too strong. I usually drank wine coolers and drinks with rum or peach schnapps.
I am having a glass of wine right now. We have wine every night with dinner, and usually a glass afterwards or a martini. I really enjoy a good wine.
I had 2 glasses of wine last weekend, a Mike's Hard Lemonade a couple weeks before that and a glass of champagne during Thanksgiving dinner. Can't remember the last time I had hard alcohol. ?? Don't care for it. In college I drank beer because it was cheap, and liked gin and tonics. I don't like beer now. Blah. I see nothing wrong with having a few drinks now and then, as long as done so responsibly. DH rarely drinks. His father was an alcoholic and he doesn't ever want to go there.
I had a glass of wine two or three nights ago. I usually have a glass or two of wine a couple nights per week.
I went out a few weeks ago and drank a little, but we don't make it out very often anymore.
We usually keep a 6 pack of Smirnoff Ice in the fridge for both Dh and I but it will last us several weeks. I'm not much of a wine drinker and can't drink beer. Hard alcohol? I had an Amaretto sour after Thanksgiving dinner but before that, it had been 6 months or more.
Well the last time i drank and i guess i supposedly got drunk lol was June 6thor7th ,2003 i had i think a total of 9 drinks that night not quite sure lol and after that i had a few swigs of pina colada? about 2 weeks ago maybe i would love to go have a sex on the beach soon lol = ) i'm overly tired from layaway season lol .
On October 12 of this year at a wedding. I had rum and coke. It's my favorite.
Last Friday night. I don't get sloppy, but usually have one on the weekend. Specially in the summer.
December 31,2002. I wasn't a big drinker any way, we went out every few months before that. I got pregnant in March/April 2002 & have been breast feeding since her birth, almost a year ago
LOL..4 years ago at least... lets see, May of 2000 (graduation party)
I don't drink at all.
Last Saturday we had some friends over, and had a few screwdrivers... it had been months before that!
No, wait... I lied... Nate's company Halloween party, too.. lots of alcohol there!
I expect to do some of that tomorrow as we do the Christmas party thing (both my company and my dh's - same night, yikes, we're going from one to the other).
Wine at dinner when we go out to eat. Don't keep it in the house.
I had a few beers at a Christmas Party last weekend. Not really big on drinking, but I do enjoy a few Mich lights when we go out.
Wine 2 weeks ago at a holiday party. Usually we do enjoy wine together during the week, but only a couple glasses a week. I actually drink more in the Summer. I always make a huge container of Sangria and I love my margaritas.
We drink wine about once a month with dinner. I have spirits in the house, but really haven't had some in a long time. We used to be big drinkers, I really had a problem with drinking in college. So I don't drink often, still when I do I have a hard time not drinking too much. Wine is different for me. My favorite holiday drink is peppermint schnaps in hot chocolate...YUM!
My last drink was back in September and I had a Baileys on ice. I only have six to eight drinks a year. I drink a Baileys, a margarita, or a bushwacker. I can't stand beer and I don't care for wine so I guess that when I do decide to have a drink it's of the hard liquor variety and it's never more than one.
I'm not a drinker either (and I've never been drunk!). I never acquired the taste for it and have only had an alcoholic drink about 5 times in my life. The only alcohol I've ever bought myself was a bottle of asti-spumante for a New Year's party many years ago.
Tuesday night.DH and I went Christmas shopping TOGETHER for the fist time since we have been married.
Oh, I LOVE Smokey Bones!!! There's one in Springfield, IL that we found over the summer--did you get the donuts for dessert?
I had a bad margarita last saturday night. The weekend before I asked for a fuzzy navel at my husband's chrsitmas party and I ended up with a screwdriver.It was bad also. I'm not much of a drinker at all but,I might have one here and there socially.
I only drink wine normally, or on cruises I'll order Virgin Pina Coladas. Hard liquor makes me feel bad.
A couple of weeks ago I had a couple of wine coolers, but before that... it's been at least a couple of years. I haven't been *drunk* in almost 10 years!
I had several Sea breezes (some sort of juice and Vodka), at my dh's company Christmas party last Saturday night. We got a room at the lodge where the party was and stayed the night. Dh's folks watched the dk's. IT was a great night out!
We have wine or beer with dinner, but the last cocktail I had was two months ago. My parents were here to take care of our children and my husband and I went out on a date. We actually sat at the bar of the restaurant before dinner and had drinks. I had a chocolate Martini, which was great!
Bellajoe, I have some friends that were at a company Christmas party last weekend at a lodge too... they were at Atwood! Is that where you were too? Small world if it is!!
No, i have heard of Atwood though. We were at the Geneva State Park Lodge and Motel at Geneva on the Lake. It would have been a small world if we were at the same place as your friends!
Hard liquor was over 10 years ago. I have had wine a few times since then. But, don't worry, the amount of drinking I did in college 20 years ago covers me for the rest of my life.

) a few nights a week with dinner or dessert but it's been quite a while since i've had an actual beverage consisting of hard alcohol. Probably when my Mom watched DD a few months ago and DH and I went our to the bars and beach. I'm not a big drinker when it comes to the other stuff.
