I saw this mentioned in another conversation. I looked around on the recipe board but I couldn't spot it there. Where can I get it from? Thanks!

I did the same thing and couldn't find it. The one they are discussing was Amy's recipe.

LOL...wonder how many of us looked for it and couldn't find it. LOL I did the same thing and couldn't find one by Amy either.

It took a while to find it, but I was determined! :) You're going to love them! Amy, have you tried these in a crock-pot? I thought these would be nice to come home to someday.

So is it the red beans and rice, or the red beans and rice New Orleans style?

Where are you Amy? :)

By Tink on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 - 06:48 pm:

That's not it. Here it is, about halfway down the page.

Thank you Tink! I think I will make this tomorrow. I love to have "home cooking" scents in the house!

Wait, I don't know what Tony Chachere's is??

By Tink on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 - 06:57 pm:

I didn't either. It is a salt and red pepper (plus other seasonings) blend. I'm in CA and thought it was a southern thing but I found it in a regular grocery store. It's in a big green shaker in the spice aisle. It's really good!

By Breann on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 - 07:16 pm:

Thanks :) I am in WA. I will check the store in the morning.

Hey! Sorry I was out most of the day. Very busy this week at my son's school. I'm glad someone found the post for you. Let me know if you like it! I'm glad so many of you are getting some use out of the recipe(s) I posted. :)

By Tink on Thursday, December 16, 2004 - 01:25 am:

I'm going to try the Chicken stew one next! :)

By Amy~moderator on Thursday, December 16, 2004 - 01:16 pm:

Chicken Stew is my favorite. Just watch it closely at the end so it doesn't stick. You may need to add water toward the end of cooking to get it just the right consistency.
