My dd walked into our bedroom and stands by our bed and say`s , " Mom ,I think Zack puked because there is stuff dripping down from his bed".
(She is on the bottom bunk ,Zack is on the top).
YUCK ! poor dd.
I`ve been doing laundry allll day.
I wish it would snow !
It seem`s when it get`s colder and snow`s there isn`t as many illnesses going around.
My poor ds has been on the couch all day with the dry heaves .
I don`t dare cook anything because I think the smell`s will make him feel worse.
Well , at least I will keep up on the house work right ?
ha ha , I am sure I will find something else to do

What a way to wake up! I hope your ds is feeling better soon. I can sympathize. My youngest ds has asthma and when he really starts coughing he will throw up. It is always worse at night. I just hate waking up to that.

I hate those middle-of-the-night wake up calls! Stumbling around, trying to find clean sheets, crying kids, doing laundry..
I am so happy that my kids are getting older and can throw up into the trash cans or make it to the bathroom! This will sound awful, but there are times when I can't wait until they are grown up and out of the house, so I don't have to clean up after they've been sick! LOL {{Sue}}

I'm with you but I did get to sleep a little. DD woke up coughing uncontrollably at 3:30 am. I did everything. Hydrocodone syrup, Dimetapp, moist air, neb treatment and anything else I thought would help. Nothing stopped it. At 5:00 I made extra sweetened Kool-aid, she threw that up from coughing so much. But I had a towel handy so it went into the towel. At 5:30 she wanted some milk. I was afraid to give it to her, bc it usually makes her cough worse. But I didn't think it could get worse. I had been praying for awhile about her coughing. I went and got the milk and five minutes later she was asleep and not coughing. And hasn't coughed since. I believe in the power of prayer. I got back to sleep at about 6:15 and slept until 10:30 am. I wouldn't trade my kids for all the nights sleep, but being a mommy should come with combat pay.

BTDT-- Just after I quit my job, ds got sick and I was up the entire night with him, from 12:30AM til about 8:00AM. I got like 2 hours of sleep that day.

One morning a couple of years ago when I was still working, ds threw up in his bed and dh called me at work to see what to do. I said keep him home from school and I would call and let the school know.

When I got home, the puke was still on his bed!
UUUUGGGGHHHH!

Oh no! My hubby cleans up puke! LOL! He is wonderful that way! I remember Sarah threw up all over her bed, when she was about one, and he cleaned most of it up!

Sometimes when you get older you can make it to the bathroom, sometimes not.

Once when I was pregnant with Hailey I got really sick, after eating at Captain D's, we came home and I didn't make it to the toilet, but thankfully made it in the bathroom. DH cleaned it up, while I went to lay down, he was so upset that I was sick that he cried.. he can't stand to see me hurting, sick or anything it just kills him.

Sorry to hear that your Zack is sick.

That is really not a good way to wake up, I could just imagine. Your poor DD.
