I'm just not ready for Christmas! My tree is not up. I have most of my gifts purchased, but I am not in the mood to wrap! Uggh!

We went to a Holiday party last weekend and had a ball! I've been Christmas shopping. We went to Yankee Candle this past weekend and it was so decorated and lovely. Starbuck has my favorite Peppermint Mocha's! I was getting in the spirit of things, and then today it's a gorgeous 60 degree day. Maybe I just need snow...

Is anyone else not in the spirit of things?

I just thought of Christmas cards! I haven't started those either. LOL!

I can't seem to get in "the mood" for Christmas either. Every now and then I get a little feel for it, but not like I am hoping for.

We have our tree and our decorations up. I need to do Christmas cards. Maybe that will help.

It is raining today and my daughter has been bringing cute Christmas crafts home from school the past few days.

Just finished Chrismas shopping yesterday and all I have left are a few Stocking stuffers. I am in no mood to wrap and I really don't feel like going to any Christmas parties...I am not in the Christmas Mood either...I wonder why? Maybe as we get closer to Christmas things will change.

I almost didn't do Christmas cards this year but DH talked me into it. I just took some pictures of the kids on Saturday night, found a cute one went to Shutterfly and ordered picture cards...easy.

Now all I have to do is address them and stamp them.

I'm having a little tougher time this year, too - I think a lot has to do with our weather here. Although it rarely gets that wintery here in central Texas, it's been very damp and that gets me down.

I ordered my cards this morning - used the photo of the kids that I posted on the board.

I think if I just could wrap a few things each day, I'd feel more into it. I'm just so tired when I come home from work that I just want to relax.

Oh, well - I'm determined to bump up my spirit somehow! I know that coming here sure helps me a lot!

I am with you, Eve! I have purchased only three tiny gifts so far. Dh bought tree today but we haven't decorated it yet. No outside decorations either. I purchased a cute pack of cards, ten in all, out of 45 needed. I haven't taken the kids' picture to put inside yet. i am even thinking about not sending out cards this year at all!

I am in my real estate two weeks course with my final exam on Monday. I am hoping after I have passed (hopefully) the test on Monday then I can focus on XMas. But I won't be able to buy at amazon.com because it is too late. I'll have to venture out to the stores! Yuck!

It's also very mild and muggy here lately. It doesn't help with the hoilday mood.

Gosh, I sound more of a Scrooge than Eve!

I can`t get into the mood either.I`m not sending Christmas card`s this year.
We need a good snow storm.It was 45 degree`s today and I was driving with my car window open.
Hopefully it will snow soon !!!

I just posted about not sending out many Christmas cards this year. I am getting some decorations up, but it is going very slowly. I am still not done with my shopping but this weather is not helping at all-snow and ice storms just keep screwing up my plans. Plus I am much busier this year than most. I am helping out with the Christmas Pageant at my church and since they are short on volunteers I am taking on a much bigger role than I anticipated. Okay, I'm done whining now. Eve and everyone else I hope the Christmas spirit finds you!
