i have just received my refferal for this and it looks like before valentines day ill have it. this is so needed for my life. has anyone gone thru this? now that im serious and it looks like like its really happening i want to know the serious pros and cons.any advice is greatly appreciated

My mom and sister have both had this done. It was an amazing help to my sister, not so much for my mom. The biggest difference is the way my sister changed her lifestyle after having this done. Both of them have stomachs that are much more sensitive to certain foods, like milk and extremely fibrous foods. Good luck! It can be a life-changing surgery!

some people think of it as a quick fix, but it is not. I work in a hospital and we have had many may people get seriously hurt and die because they ate too much and did not follow the doctors orders. Ask as many questions as you can think and do your research. There are a few diff kinds of surgery adn each have pros and cons. If you cannot commit to a lifestyle change without it then most likely you won't with it. It is more than physical changes mental also.
