Perspiration dilemna for dd

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive November 2004: Perspiration dilemna for dd
By Annie2 on Sunday, November 21, 2004 - 06:38 pm:

My 13 year old dd sweats alot under her arms. To the point where she is becoming very self conscience of the clothes she will buy and wear.
I did the same a few years back in my teens. no excess odor just water spots.
Anyway, is there anything OTC she can use to curb this problem? I got an Rx of a very strong antiperspirant years ago but can't remember the name. Mitchum deodorant also helped curb the problem for me but it's not working for her.
Any ideas or tips?
Thanks :)

Certain Dri. Have to ask for it at the pharmacy. They keep it behind the counter, but it is not prescription. NEVER use it after shaving----ouch!

I know someone that has this
and after the put the deodorant on
they rub some cornstarch in. They say it keeps them dry and really helps.

Yes, I've heard of certain dry. A friend of mine uses it, and doesn't sweat for 3 days. He bought his at Target.

I bought it today for dd. She's thrilled to solve this problem as she has become very self concience of it.
Thanks everyone!
