Today I am working on decorating the outside of my house for Christmas!! Any other early decorators out there??? The main reason I do it early is so I don't have to freeze when I am doing it. It is sprinkling here and there, but warm today!! I can take my time and do it right!!

I went out today and looked at Christmas decorations at the store and I can't wait to put my things up next week.

I love Christmas decorations and we always drive around to look at all of the fun lights.

DH, me and the girls went to eat out last weekend and DH says what are we gonna do after we eat (it was kind of freezing) he said, I wish we could go drive around and look at Christmas lights...So I think he is getting just as excited about it this year..lol

I've been seeing the trucks coming out of Maine and NH the last few weeks loaded up with trees for people to sell. I will start decorating the week after Thanksgiving because we have a Christmas parade party on 12/5, but I probably won't get a tree until the week after that.

I only have one more wreath to put on my windows and then I am pretty much done with the outside. I am putting this one off because I have to climb a big ladder and get up into the rafters of the garage to get to the window!! I usually make dh do this one as well as the one in our 2 story foyer, but by the time he gets home tonight, it will be too dark for him to do the garage one, so I am going to go do it. I HATE ladders. LOL But it drives me insane to have all but 2 of the windows done! I know I can get him to do the foyer window tonight, so by 7pm it should be done!! We also put spot lights on the house, but dh can do that tomorrow or Sunday. We won't turn on any lights until Thanksgiving night!! We have 13 windows in the front of the house, so this is a job in itself!! LOL The porch is all done too!! I was going to wait until next weekend to start on the inside, but I am getting so excited, we might just have to do it this weekend!!! Ugh.. better go get that garage window done... can you tell I am putting that off.....

Mine will go up this weekend outside but not be plugged in or turned on until next Friday the day after thanksgiving.

We won't start until after Thanksgiving. I like each Holiday to have it's celebrations without overlapping them. My Halloween/Fall decorations outside will come down and Christmas will go up the weekend after Thanksgiving.

I really enjoy Thanksgiving so I try not to let Christmas overshadow it. We don't put up decorations until the week after Thanksgiving and the tree gets decorated the next weekend.

I've been playing Christmas music since before Halloween !!! I just love the whole holiday season.The air just smells" holliday-ish".This time of the year makes me happy.Dh and I are going to put up lights next week.I've already set out my snowman collection.

We'll probably start decorating next weekend. I'm in charge of the inside (except for the tree - DH puts it and the lights up and I decorate...well, at least the branches that aren't too high - I'm only 5'1").
