Is a necklace a too personal gift for a preschool teacher?

What do you think?

Depends. Is it a necklace that links to your child or her role as a teacher? Or something unusual - some sort of ethnic type of design? Then I would think OK. If you are talking about just a regular necklace, then it might be. But, you have good judgment, Feona, so I suggest you just use it.

I work as a preschool aide and I'd love a necklace. Look at the teacher's personal style and give something that would tie in with it.

Preschool teachers also love BIG, HUGE things of germ killer, good, soft tissues, and good hand moisturizer (the germ killer does a number on your hands).
