I do not know what to wear for Rylee's birthday party next weekend. It is at a park, but is inside. The kids can play outside which has a lot of sand. I don't know if I should dress really nicely
or if I should just wear jeans and a nice shirt, since I am sure I will be outside with Rylee. The nice outfit has to be worn with open toed high heels. I want to look nice and not bummy, but have no clue what to wear. I know that I will not be the center of attention and it is Rylee's BIG day, but I still want to look decent. Help me please.

Ditto the jeans. Casual khakis if you're wanting more of a dressy look. Maybe a cardigan sweater set with either the jeans or the khakis?

My DD has a birthday next week, too! Her's is November 18.

I was going to say exactly what Kate said. Whenever I am not quite sure, I go with khaki pants. You can't go wrong! LOL! Most of all, have fun!

If you have a pair of hiker boots, they always look nicer than just sneakers and they will be good for the park.
