WOO HOO!!!!!!!!! I know you were worried. 18 months ago I had my first abnormal mammogram and it turned out to be fibrocystic breast tissue.

Don't be alarmed, when you have future mammos, if you have to have another one and/or an ultrasound. I know I mentioned this before, but my Dr. now skips the screening mammo for me and orders diagnostic plus an ultrasound because of the fibrocystic breast disease.

Great news, Trisa!

Been there, done that, and remember just how terrified I was. I had an infected cyst and cystic mass and had to have surgery, and was more or less holding my breath until the biopsy report came back.

One thing, some women are prone to "lumpy breasts", that is cystic masses. I have been told by doctors that cutting back on caffiene is a good idea as caffiene seems to promote this condition.

My doctor recommended that I eliminate caffiene and take 1000mg of vitamin e daily. It has definitely helped with the pain and discomfort of having fybrocystic breasts.
