SHE GOT A JOB!! :):):):)
Not sure how long she'll keep it, but at least she got one! She apparantly told DSD (12) not to tell her father where she was working (?????) she said because she didn't want him calling her workplace and telling them she owes all this money in back child support. (??????) Like he's ever done that. SHE'S the one who used to call HIS workplaces when she had the kids. All for stupid reasons. She even called one place one time and told them I was not his wife, she was and went on to explain how wrong DH and I were. (Can you imagine???) Anyway...the last job she had, and every job I've ever had, always asks if you have a child support obligation when you get hired. So why would DH have to call anyway?? I think he should probably call his local child support office, but not her work place!
DSD(17) just went up to see her mom and grandmother last Sunday. Apparantly they gave her money to pay for her college courses next semester. :):) I just found out yesterday though that her mom's new boyfriend asked if she wanted him to pay anything on her child support and the woman said NO! But had no problem forking over $250 to her oldest daughter. I wanted to scream!!! Hello....you have 2 other kids here!! As a matter of fact I just spent $30 on a field trip DSD(13) is taking today! That's alot of money if you figure we have 4 of them here all needing money for something or other!
Anyway, if she keeps this job long enough we may actually be able to afford Christmas this year!:)
Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Dealing with X's is never pleasant, and I've found through the years and personal experience, that while you have to be consistent in going after them for the money that they should rightly be paying for child support, you have to make efforts to do what you can without *counting* on it. Good luck.
