Hmmmm. You can be a baby. Draw freckles, pacifier, bib,blanky,pigtails,etc...Or, a farmer, overalls etc..Or, go getcha some kitty ears or devil horns, (those headbands) That always works. Or you can put on your dh's work clothes. (and be him) good luck

Sweats, slippers, curlers and a facial mask. Voila...You are a housewife!

Do you have an old bride's maid dress in the closet? Get a wand, a crown and a set of wings - Poof! A Fairy God Mother!

One year I went as a little girl. I put on my pink flannel night gown, did my hair in pigtails, and painted pink circles on my cheeks and attached one of my dd's little stuffed animals to a small ribbon and attached it to my nightgown so that if I got tired of carrying it I could just let it hang there and not lose it. I didn't spend one penny on that outfit and I would say that qualifies for "cheap".:)

Then the next year I went as a granny. I bought a house dress at Walmart ($10 I think) and bought a granny wig on clearance for a couple of dollars. then I wore some really bright lipstick from the dollar store (I made sure I got some on my teeth LOL)and some of my dd's dressup bead necklaces and knee-hi pantyhose rolled down to my sneakers. This costume cost me about $15.

One year when Jen was dancing, we had a mother-daughter dance routine for the revue. The moms wore housegowns - you know, those mawmaw things grannies wear around the house, foam curlers in their hair or those hair nets, sloppy slippers, just made ourselves look really icky and sloppy - easy to do! LOL Cheap and effective. Sort of what Cori was writing about.

Really, really simple: go buy some butterfly wings and wear a black top.:)
