HI, everyone, I took my second daughter into get her L for driving, the written test, she did not get it, and came out crying. I am so glad I do not have to go through the test or I would fail for sure. She was so confident she would get it, my first daughter failed it 3 times before she got her L, she has a learning disability, as does my second daughter. I am hoping she gets it on the next try. My first daughter, ended up having to have the test done with the instructor asking her because of the disability, and she pasted, but now, they tell me that they do not do that anymore. I had an aniexty attack when she was taking the test, as I was so nervous for her, she is pasted the sad part now she is mad!! determined to get it on monday. I am in tears for her, it just feels like a knife in your heart when your child is that upset. After she gets her licience, then my youngest will go but their will be a while before that happens, 4 more years, I just hope she does ok, as she has a worse learning disability than my other two. :( . I am so upset now I have given myself a nasty headache. Hopefully she will get it on monday.

awwww, I'll be praying for both of you.

I didn't flunk the written exam, I did flunk the driving one the first time.

The police officer told me at the four way stop I did not stop long enough. I had the same man when I went back, boy was I stressed.

Brings back memories. I have twin girls who turned 15 in March. We went and I knew one had studied because I saw her with the book alot. The other.....well was confident.

The one who studied got it the first time and the other took it 5 times.

Good luck to her.

lol, I like that,( well was confident.) She was too but she did study, and also her school offered a course in driver education, and she took that, also. My daughter is a very nervous person, and I think it just overwhelmed her a bit, she said she kept counting how many she got wrong, and started panicking. The lady at the desk, I went to school with her, and she said it was rare if a kid got it the first time, usually 2nd or more. I am glad though , that when she gets her L ( which she will) that she can not take the drivers test for a year, lots of practise time. My oldest took driver's lessons paid for them herself, and the instructor is hinting around for my other daughter to get lessons right away soon as she has her L, she is so scared to go with him, ( before we show her bad driving habits lol.) He is a good guy I know what he means and I was not offended at all.
Do you remember what it cost to take the test? 10 dollars here, and if she pasts then another 15 for the picture. It gets higher when you go for the actual driving test. Some day I will be sitting back and my kids will be going through this with theirs, oh I feel sorry for them, but I guess we all have to go through it at some point.
