I really want one of these....

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive September 2004: I really want one of these....

Does anyone have one? Here are two that I found. They are both the same price. I'm leaning towards the first one. The second one looks a little bit "cheapy" with the colored beads. The description calls them "crystals", but they don't really resemble that to me.

Hmmm....which one do you like the best?

A mom I know has the top one. It's pretty in real life, but I'm not a bracelet person. The pics are tiny. My friend said she had to resize and print pics from her digital camera to fit.

I have something close. I will try to take a picture of it and e-mail it to you later.

I have the top one, but I personally like the bottom one better. I used my digital camera and printed pictures from my computer, or you can go to Kinkos. There is a piece of paper with different sizes that comes with the bracelet that can help you resize the pictures if you go to some place like Kinkos to resize them. HTH.

Of the two above, I like the first one, too. Here's another one I just saw in a magazine this week.

Family Bracelet

If you're not a bracelet person, here's a necklace that's kind of neat. I think my mil would love this for the grandkids.

Friendship Ball Pendant

Thanks Andi! That would be great :)

If I purchase the second bracelet, I can e-mail the photos in and they will print them and "install" them for me. (for a fee of course)

The other one just says to take them into a local photo shop and have them do it for you. Or, you can do it on your home printer. I think I would take mine in and have it done just because my printer is super great quality when it comes to photos.

I also like the 2nd one the best. Where do you get them?

By Cat on Wednesday, September 29, 2004 - 12:33 pm:

Whoops, guess the links didn't work. Just do a search for those item names. :)

By Mommyathome on Wednesday, September 29, 2004 - 12:34 pm:

Here is the picture of the one that Cat posted a link too.

I like this one, but I'm thinking I want to go for more of a chunky look. This one looks a little more dressy too me. Very pretty though!

Emily, the second one is listed on e-bay. You can customize the bead colors.

The first one is from Dillards.

THOSE ARE SOOO CUTE, ILOVE THE FIRST ONE!

They are a cute idea!:)

I like the new ones that the company is making with the beads and sterling silver. Beaded Memory Makers

The ones I really, really LOVE are the ones that were on Oprah years ago! They are pricey though! A Mom can dream... Photo Jewelry

Cookie Lee Jewlery sells these also. I can't remeber exactly how much though. I actually considered buying one, but I don't really wear jewlery. :)

Awww, I want one! I think I like the top one better.

By Vicki on Wednesday, September 29, 2004 - 03:25 pm:

I have a friend who sells Cookie Lee and I have a book right in front of me. The bracelets (they have 2 different styles) are 22.00 each. They also now have a couple of necklaces, pins and a toggle bracelet too(for photos). Love them, but I am not a silver person and that is all they come in!
