HI, I have been without the use of my dryer since well middle of last winter. Our main breaker in the house was weak so if you ran the dryer it would kick everytime. Part of last winter the clothes have been drying over the woodstove, and out on the line this summer, the weather has changed here, starting to rain almost every day, so we finally put out the money for an electrian. We are also moving the placement of our fridge and stove, so in order to put the new electrical in we are taking down the paneling ( glad it is not jip rock, so the guy can put the wires in the wall. right now we have counter double sinks counter fridge counter stove, so I want the fridge at the end, so the fridge is not stuck in the middle. It will look a lot better when it is done.Just glad I can dry clothes now, we should have done it a long time ago.

Woo hoo! I'm happy for you! After going without it for so long you must be thrilled. :)

I bet you are doing a 'happy' dance, lol! I really can't go without my washer, dryer, stove or refrig. My dishwasher's been on the blink, but I can live without that:)

You never realize how much you *enjoy* things like that until you have to miss them! I'm glad you can use it again!!!

Wow! I went without a dryer for just 2 weeks or so and I was lost! Yeah for you that you have it back and are having some other work done! Enjoy the extra time you'll have, now that you don't have to hang clothes.

It sucks going without a dryer! I know, I'm going through it now. Yippy for you Marg! :)

Yeah for Marg! Dryers are a necessity. I can take it if the Washer breaks down, handwashing clothes til a new one appears but I can't live without my dryer! AJ

I can't imagine going without a dryer! My dryer is running, as I type! If the washer conks out, like mine did recently, we had to take the wet clothes to the laundromat! We had to get a new washer. Something died in the transmission, I think.

I can't imagine being without one either! I use my washer AND dryer daily. Those are 2 appliances I'd go into debt to have! LOL

We finally rented a dryer when our youngest was a baby. For his first few months I had to hang everything, and I used cloth diapers. I really feel for you. It's not fun.
