So Randy (my 9yo) was sitting on the floor putting his shoes on to go to a friends house and play a few minutes ago, when he very casually asks me, "Mom, can I have some of that Coor's Light?" Me, in a slightly shocked voice--"Um, Honey, do you mean the Crystal Light???" Him--"Oh, yeah. That." *big sigh of relief* Kids...

My son asked the same thing. We don't drink beer often, but dh had one with the nieghbor once, and ds asked. He sniffed the can first and without tasting it, handed it back! "YUCK!" he said!

Dd asked all the time one year for a sip of Daddys. He usually only drinks one or two when he is working outside in the summer time. I got tired of her asking all of the time and him explaining why she couldn't have some and one day I finally said give her some! He looked at me like I had 6 heads and I said, one sip and she will quit asking for it. LOL I was right!!

He's such a little booger. He has no desire to try real beer. Robin on the other hand, wanted to a couple years ago and we did what Vicki did. He tried one sip and never wants to try it again. I can't stand beer! I don't drink anyway and dh has one once in a blue moon. Randy does now think it's funny to call it Coors Light instead of Crystal Light. I told him if he continues to do that I won't make it any more and he can drink water. He didn't like that idea! lol

My mom let me have a sip every now and again on the occasions that she had a wine cooler or at special functions i could have a sip of wine...from the time i was about 8 i guess...never alot just a sip here and there and you know..i am 27 now and dont drink and never had the urge with other kids when they did it...it wasnt all that forbidden when she let me taste it every now and again...
