UGH, I got paint on my favorite shirt!

My ds and I painted his little school bag yesterday. Today while doing the laundry, i noticed I had gotten the fabric paint on the back of my favorite shirt! I stain sticked it, that didn't work. I tried OxyClean, that didn't work. Does anyone have any suggestions? This is the paint I used:

I found the website, but it doesn't say how to get it off of clothes.

Being fabric paint, I wouldn't think that is could come off?? What ever you do, don't put it into the dryer though. Did you try something abrasive that might scrap it off???

Thank goodness i found it before i put it through the dryer. I will try scrapping it off, but i don't think it will work.

Is it a white shirt?

By Bellajoe on Wednesday, September 15, 2004 - 11:28 am:

No, it's like a light raspberry color. Weird way to explain it, but that's the only way i can explain the color.

I called the paint's cusomer service number and the lady said there is no way to get it off, it's permanent. :(

Here's a little update. I emailed the paint company and they emailed back saying I could try rubbing alcohol or Spot Shot. They said to try it in a hidden spot first, in case it messed up the shirt. My shirt would be ruined anyway, so i just tried the rubbing alcohol and rubbed like crazy and it worked, it got the paint off my shirt! Whooo hoo! Happy dance!!

Thats great I will have to remember that! Thank You for the update.

Do you know that rubbing alcohol also works on carpets and sharpie marker issues??
