My ds's b-day party is on the 18th. I was wondering if anyone has a recipe for homemade playdough. I know there is several recipes online. There are so many that I was wondering if anyone has a favorite that works well for them.

Also, anyone make homemade bubbles?

Homemade play-dough
1 C of water
2 C four
1 C salt
1/4 C vegetable oil
1 pkg.unsweetened koolaide (any flavor , to determine color of play-dough).

Heat water , flour ,salt ,oil on medium heat.
Stir until it starts to thicken.
Mixture will be watery and lumpy and hard to stir.
Add koolaide.Stir.Take off heat and put on counter to cool.
Knead mixture well.Store in covered container or zip lock bag.

We use this recipe and have never had the Kool-Aid stain anything. Now that you brought that up, I'm wondering why not.
