How crazy is this?!?

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive September 2004: How crazy is this?!?
By Anonymous on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 - 06:57 pm:

My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for 1 year. I just decided maybe we were only meant to have one child. I was actually feeling really good about it. I'm due to start my period any second. I had an HPT lying around, so I took it, thinking "I know it's not possible". And guess what?? 2 pink lines!! One isn't quite as pink the other, but still! I don't want to get my hopes up. Needless to say, my husband will be going to CVS to get another test tonight when he gets home! I'm posting anonymous because NO ONE knows..not even DH!! I just had to share!

That's the way it goes. I read here on this board that a lady had adopted a daughter and had "given up" and then got pregnant. It seems once we surrender, God says "SURPRISE!" Congratulations! :-) AJ

PS I am going ahead with the congratulations because I believe the old saying goes: "You can get a false negative, but not a false positive." AJ
