The kids are back in school!!!!!! They both like their teachers and so do we. I was excited to kiss them goodbye this morning, I think we were all ready!

Well, it's 2:00. I went to breakfast with 6 of my friends and then went to Wal-Mart BY MYSELF. Now, I am going to relax on the couch until time to go and get them. Next week they will walk to and from alone (not alone, there are 8 kids that will walk together) AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

YEAH! My son likes his teacher, too!

His first grade teacher last year was a bit of a crank- to put it nicely. She rarely ever had a good thing to say about my son, or any of the other three or four boys who seemed to have difficulty in her class. She was extemely stressed to the point that it affected her attitude and towards the end of last year, she was ready to have a nervous breakdown.

This year is a NEW year, and my son has a NEW excitement for school. He is proud to be in 2nd grade. This may be due to the homework I made him do over the summer, and the coaching I did with him on his behavior in class. He got a note from his teacher today saying what a good job he did focusing on his work!
