Chest size...

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive September 2004: Chest size...
By Mrsheidi on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 - 02:34 pm:

Another "body" question for a new mom of a 2 month old...I've always had a size D chest and hated it because of the sports I did. Now, because of the pregnancy, they are a DD...ugh. It's killin' me because I can't run (I'd probably knock myself out)or exercise a lot because it just plain hurts! Wanted to know if there's hope out there for them to shrink??? I just stopped breastfeeding...(BTW, feeling guilty about that, but it just wasn't a good experience for either one of us.) Maybe I'm just venting??

By Kellyj on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 - 02:40 pm:

I'm a bit jealous. :) I've always been small and for one glorious day I was a D! Of course it wasn't too much fun because they ached so because they had just filled up with milk. I didn't breastfeed and within 2 months they were back at their preprego state...small.

By Brandy on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 - 02:42 pm:

Well i don't know if yours will go back down but mine sure didn't although i didn't breastfeed so that may have been why? I seriously doubt it though i guess they just wanted to stay that big lol...

I went from a C to a DD when I was pregnant. They never went away either! I keep wishing though.

By Trina~moderator on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 - 02:45 pm:

This is different for everyone. My Aunt was big before kids and small after. Many of my friends said they shrunk down to normal size after birth/breastfeeding. Before kids I was an A cup, now I'm a B! Woo hoo! LOL!

By Mrsheidi on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 - 02:50 pm:

Kelly, don't be jealous at all...it's not fun...I still feel so engorged. I think I just want a "C" so I can at least try to golf with the hubby and not laugh at myself...or cry. My best friend is "small", but has got a great tummy. We always tell each other that one day, God will copy and paste our body parts!! But, I don't wish this size on anyone. I will never ever ever understand why women get a size D or higher. (Implants) Especially if they're active. They really limit you. Oh, and the bras...they ain't pretty!! They're like TENTS! Might as well shop at an outdoor sporting goods store!! LOL!

With my first child I went from a C to a D and they went back to a C. Then with my second child I went from a C to a DD and they dropped to a D. I want my C cup back. :(

I was over a DD and had a breast reduction (at 5' and 100 pounds it was way too big for my frame). After my first child I went from a B to a C. My second child I went to a D. It remains a D. Trust me I can relate. I kept wishing for it to go down but never did. No more kids for me so I guess I stay a D. Jcpenny actually does have a nice selection of bras for size D and DD!

I was a D before my first pregnancy, I was a DD before my second pregnancy, & now I wear a E. I still hold out hope that when I done breast feeding they will go back down. I hate having large breasts.

By Mommyathome on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 - 05:11 pm:

I guess I'm on the small side in the breast department :( I'm wear a 34B. When pregnant I wear a C.

By Palmbchprincess on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 - 05:36 pm:

I *was* a full C before pregnancy, went up to OMG! while nursing, and now I'm a small B. I miss my boobs, and would give just about anything to be my original size again. Breast augmentation is in my future for sure.

By Fionadeassis on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 - 05:53 pm:

With first Ds I went from a B to a D.....breastfed for 2 years....after I stopped I wasn't even an A. My 15 year old sis had to give me one of her old training bras....

My boobs looked like 2 empty socks hanging on the wash line!......

Now with breastfeeding Ds number 2...I am a DD. I hate it! If I go out with no baby or kids, I get stared at harshly by all the guys...never had that experience before and I don't like it!

After I am done breastfeeding again I am sure I will be the 2 socks blowing in the wind again! LOL!

But I do have a great tummy....no stretch marks...

I was a full C before my first pregnancy. I went up to an E while preggo and nursing, down to a D when I stopped and have gone back to a DD with each pregnancy. I barely fill out a D now but I spill out of a C. I'd love to be a regular C. Of course I'd love it if they didn't hang down to my knees too but, without surgery, it ain't gonna happen!
P.S. Heidi, I hear you about the ugly large bras! Victoria's Secret must hate us!

By Feona on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 - 08:46 am:

They shrink alittle. But get some good bras fitted at a bra store and you will be happier. I like bali double support. But I don't run.

I think people wear two bras if it hurt. Like a sports bra over a regular bra.

Breast are fat. So if you lose even 5 pounds they go down alittle bit. I am 142 pounds and a 36 double d too.... So I don't know what to tell you.

By Boxzgrl on Thursday, September 2, 2004 - 12:12 pm:

I was a full C pre preggo and went to a full D. Now im back to a C but without that young "perk" I had before. So my whine is, "I want perky Boobs!!" LOL

By Nicosmom on Thursday, September 2, 2004 - 12:23 pm:

Melissa I know what you mean. Mine are not that high anymore. I was probably a full C while pregnant. Now I'm a full B, but when I lose weight naturally I lose some chest. My goal is to lose 15-20 more lbs. Bye Bye Breasts!

By Rayanne on Thursday, September 2, 2004 - 12:30 pm:

Mine do the sag too.

I think of the movie The Sweetest Thing? Where Cameron Diaz looks in the mirror and puts her hands up and says 25 then puts her hands down and says 35. It makes me sad because I am 25.

I want the perky back too.:)

By Juju on Thursday, September 2, 2004 - 12:55 pm:

not saggy soft (or at least thats what i like to tell myself)
