Got a question for the football widows!

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive September 2004: Got a question for the football widows!

My step daughter just got her number (for football) yesterday. Her first game is Wednesday. I don't know who's more nervous...me or her! :)
Anyway.....she is trying to find out if there are any famous football players with the number 72. If any of your husbands (or heck, if any of you) know of any....let me know please.
Thanks!!

I think that Refrigerator Perry with the Chicago Bears may have worn that number, but I am not sure.

I can't give you anyone else with that number, but want to wish your dd good luck!! My ds had his first unofficial game today (jamboree) and it was a blast. My son is #12, just like his favorite player, Tom Brady. :) Have a great time at the game!

We didn't make it to the game...it was an away game...the first home game is the 16th. I can't wait!!!!!:):):)
She got home around 10:30....walking up towards the house I could hear her singing and whistling!:) So happy!!!!!!!!
They won!! (this is unusual!!) 24-6. She was elated. Said she played on and off for 3 quarters! Got up this morning saying her neck and her back were a little sore (she showed me a bruise from where she'd been kicked in the back last night) but that she was okay! Always smiling. This is quite a change from the 11 yo that arrived at my house 2 years ago!!!

That's so exciting! Don't you just love football? It's been so good for my son. (11) It can really boost their confidence. This is his third year playing, and we're hoping for a winning season. (It would be the first!) At least in their first game they scored two touchdowns!(Even though we lost 22-12.) What position is she playing?
