This happens to me when I am feeling a lot of stress. It is very irritating isn't it?

Stress related. Drives me crazy!

Me too! Sometimes a warm washcloth will help relax the muscle. It's worth a try...and it's an excuse to lay on the couch for a few minutes! :)

After I get that twitch, I get a bruised feeling around the eye. Than I have a massive sinus infection. That's how it always starts.

I actually went to the doc for this, I was certain this was the start of a stroke. Her diagnosis was, it is very very common. There is nothing to do, but wait it out. She also said it is brought on my lots of things, stress, lack of sleep, etc. So for me when it happens I try to take a day to myself, lay around watch tv. Good luck, I do understand that it is scary, I was right there with you!

I get the eye twitch when I am stressed, too. It always just goes away on its own. I think a little relaxation should help :).

My doc told me that caffine will do this as well.
I have even had my upper lip twitch before.
