Trouble finding a Laura Ashley pattern...

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive August 2004: Trouble finding a Laura Ashley pattern...
By Dee37 on Wednesday, August 25, 2004 - 10:12 am:

Hi. Does anyone know where I can find discontinued Laura Ashley patterns? I'm looking for the "Melissa" pattern valance and twin sheet set, and I can't seem to find them anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked Ebay yet?

By Kate on Wednesday, August 25, 2004 - 11:15 am:

Oh my, ebay is loaded with Melissa! I, myself, just bought the comforter set, two valences, and two curtain sets off there! From three different sellers, mind you, but you'll have no problem! If you don't see exactly what you want, post again and I'll find the people I used because one of them purposely went out to her local Laura Ashley store and bought them for me to sell to me.

Yes, I have checked Ebay, but I thought they were a little pricey. One valance was going for $30, and that didn't include shipping. Unless I didn't find all of them on Ebay. Thanks for the feedback, though!

I got my valences for $20 each plus shipping. Honestly, you'll not find them anywhere else unless you have an Ashley outlet store near you. Believe me, I investigated!

That is where I got my valences, but I see she has them for $29.00 now. You could email her and ask if she could get you the sheets and valence and ask how much it would be. She'd probably bring the price down if you were buying more than one item. She's a super nice seller. I just emailed her out of the blue asking her to help me with curtains and valences and when I ended up finding the curtains cheaper elsewhere, she had no problem still selling me the valences (which were much less than the curtains, so she lost money on my sale) and was very nice about it all. I highly recommend her and suggest you simply email her your plight.

Now the above link is where I got my curtains, for a VERY low price. Her prices are good. Email her, too.

Last but not least, the above is where I got the comforter set. Try her, too. :o)

Who is the set for? Your daughter or a guest room?

Thanks for all the info. The set is for my 5 yr. old niece. Her room is pink, and I wanted her to have all the matching accessories.
