HEART Fans???

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive September 2004: HEART Fans???

A co-worker offered me free tickets to the HEART concert at the House of Blues the end of the month. I had no idea they were touring, much less in my area. I liked them in the 70's and 80's and have NO clue what to expect. So.........depending on DH's work schedule, we just might be going.

Well, they can *still* rock 'n roll big time! I was surprised they sounded so good.

I won't be going back to the House of Blues for another concert though. The smoke in there was suffocating and it's standing room only. Standing up for 5 hours was NOT for me. I ended up sitting on the filthy floor a lot, and that was only possible because we were upstairs on the balcony part, and just happened to snag the only standing bar table left by the time we got in.

Despite that though, it was a great show, and if anyone else likes Heart and they are coming your way, I'd recommend seeing them. They did some songs off their new *album*, and tons of the old hits.

They can still belt out those songs!

Wow, what a blast from the past! One of my brother's friends was a huge HEART fan. Good memories of parties long ago. LOL! I don't like the sounds of the House of Blues. Smokey, cramped, yuck! I prefer open air concerts myself.

Even without open air, arenas and stadiums are much better venues, IMO.

I'm tired today - been @ work for almost an hour, not much sleep last night. :-(
