Nanny 911

I think this ranks right up there with that new "Meet Your New Mommy" or whatever it's called. What will they think of next. *rolling my eyes*

By Karen~moderator on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 - 08:42 pm:

Puh-LEEZE!!!! More eye-rolling here as well...

By Trina~moderator on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 - 08:50 pm:

ROFL!! They've got to be kidding!

By Tink on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 - 09:33 pm:

Absolutely ridiculous!!! On another note, how desperate do you have to be to go on national television with your kids acting like that? I don't even like to be in the grocery store when they pull one of their stunts!

By Babysitbarb on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 - 10:49 pm:

I think I could recommend a couple differt households that needs nanny 911. No one you guys know.

By Brandy on Tuesday, August 17, 2004 - 11:01 pm:

Oh i must hurry Alex is going to be 9 in a few years lol just kidding of course = )

By Angellew on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 - 08:58 am:

Part of me says "They HAVE to be kidding"! Another part is "More reality... auuughhhh!!!" The truly sad thing is that with all this reality on tv, I'm missing the mindless, senseless and idiotic television we used to call the "sitcom"!

By Eve on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 - 09:06 am:

I don't know, if my kid was really out of control, I might be willing to try it! LOL!:)

By Emily7 on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 - 09:28 am:

I am not sure what to think. If they were going to actually be giving expert advice & helping then it might be nice for those that need it. I like how you need to send a picture though, your kids must be out of control & cute.

By Palmbchprincess on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 - 09:57 am:

EVERYTHING on TV is "reality" TV. I will admit, though I hate most reality TV, "Meet your new mommy" is bizarre and addicting. The women and families totally clash. This Nanny 911 is out of control!!!

By Lauram on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 - 10:17 am:

THe thing that bugs me about it is that "out of control" behavior is "cute." My son has out of control behavior- but I take him to a DOCTOR for it- not a nanny. UGH! The scary thing is I'm sure people will do this!

By Cat on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 - 12:06 pm:

Ditto Laura. My "out of control" (who now IS under control thanx to a great pediatric psyciatrist) child is absolutely adorable (imho, of course) but a nanny wouldn't be able to help him. It worries me that some kids may end up on this show that truely need help from the medical community and won't get it. That's scary. :(

By Mommyathome on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 - 12:18 pm:

Ditto Barb :)

My word! What are they going to come up with next?

SIGN UP YOUR NEIGHBORS!!!!

What a great solution!

*LOL*

I agree! Too much reality tv already! Who has time to sit and watch that stuff anyway?

Give me HGTV any day! :) I love all the decorating shows. I'm thinking about redoing my office. I want it pretty, but fun. I might start a new thread about it for some ideas. :)

Audrey - ROFL!!! That was way too funny. Kenna - You *have* to sign up your neighbors, that would be hilarious. ;)
