Do you go through this?

Moms View Message Board: General Discussion: Archive August 2004: Do you go through this?

Do you notice how your posts, responses and general attitude on any message board can give away your mood for the day? I've noticed that lately. Right before AF arrives I tend to be a bit jumpy, attacking and grumpy towards people at home and also when I go back and read what i've posted during those times I can seem to be a bit that way on the boards. Those are the days I usually disappear for a bit so as not to seem bitter to anyone. But there are days where my posts seem so cheery and I seem to think "I must've had a lot of coffee that morning" LOL! But do you notice that with yourselves? It never occured to me until recently but I thought it was interesting.

I have noticed that, not only about myself but about others posting. I have taken breaks on days when I feel like I am being bi**hy too. I also try to go back & apologize if I have said something I think may have hurt someone's feelings or may have come out wrong.

Yeah, I get what your saying. Usually when I'm PMSing is when I notice a difference in my posts, LOL! But yes, when I am not in a good mood I try to stay off as well. I think it's quite normal (I hope anyways LOL)

Yes I took the whole evening yesterday off, as I was quite irritable, I can't explain it, my dh is noticing my attitude and I am more then 10 days away from my "start date". But anyway, yes lately I have been needing to keep my opinions to myself...lol. Glad you posted this I will pay more attention to my current surrounding and how I feel BEFORE I post. LOL

I think it is admirable to notice your feelings and stay away or avoid posting when you know you are in a bad mood. (Of course I think it's admirable - I try to do the same thing myself - LOL).

But really, ladies, glad you brought this up and it is behavior we all should emulate - both at MV and in general.
